1994 I finished my study as physiotherapist and worked with environment health for 14 years before I got a job in Esbjerg Kommune as a leader of the environmental work. I have always been very fascinated by nature. To get close to it I bought a camper and put it at camp near by the Danish west coast in Houstrup.


From here I often went to the beach to se if I could make an old boy dream come true. And suddenly one rainy day in February 1997 I found my first amber. I found about 250 grams and as I went to sleep I got a vision that I was going to make jewellery out of the amber, and make my living from it. I couldn’t help trying to do this, and it’s up to you to judge if I succeeded. I’m more or less autodidact – I just made a three day long course how to do the silverwork. Year 2000 I bought a house near by the camp – also at the Danish west coast (see pdf-file) and later 2003 I build my boutique here. It is very important to me to be a kind of trendsetter by manufacturing jewellery with amber. I already seem to have succeeded. Thousands of customers are already wearing my jewellery with pride and fascination.
