Abelines Gaard - Abelines Farmstead
An invitation to visit the old wreck master’s farmstead…The well-preserved wreck master’s farmstead was built in the years from 1854-1871, and looks as if the former residents still lived here. In the year 1996 Abelines Gaard received a distinguished building preservation price from “Europa Nostra”. Every summer inhabitants show trades which is linked to life on the old farmstead – e.g. amber polishing, lace-making, wool spinning, folk dance etc.
Visit the old wreck master’s farmstead and have a taste of the life of Abeline and her children. Various exhibitions are shown in the barn, and in the coffee room you can relax with coffee and homemade cake.
